Teaching and Learning Units on Climate Change and Migration now available for download

We are pleased to announce the release of two teaching and learning units on Climate Change and Migration. These downloadable resources are now available to support teachers in delivering engaging, relevant, and thought-provoking lessons.

Why Teach Climate Change and Migration?

The issues of climate change and migration are among the most urgent and interconnected global challenges facing today’s youth. These new units are designed to help students:

  • 🌍 Understand the science and impacts of climate change, including how it affects ecosystems, communities, and their own lives.
  • 🧭 Explore the complex reasons people migrate, including economic, social, political, and increasingly, environmental factors.
  • 💬 Develop critical thinking and empathy by analysing real-world case studies and participating in discussions and role plays.
  • 🛠️ Build skills for active citizenship, empowering students to think about how they can respond to global issues locally.
