Geo-history: Vol. 2 (1000–1870)
Through the global spread of a highly successful agricultural product ‐ which took place over 8000 years, but was accelerated by the European conquest of the Americas – both the map and related activity aim at stimulating attention to the links between economic activities, global human events and widening inequalities, and more generally at developing the ability to grasp the interconnections between times, spaces, and events.
