Hosted annually by ANGEL in partnership with the Global Education Network Europe (GENE), this webinar series creates a shared space to bridge silos and connect researchers with policymakers. We were delighted to contribute to two of the three webinars in this series and help shape this collaborative space.
The July 8 session will dive into how Global Citizenship Education is integrated into national curricula.
Drawing from the curriculum mapping research conducted by the GET project, the session will examine exactly where and how key global challenges—such as climate change, gender inequalities, global inequalities, and migration—are currently being addressed within formal education.
This upcoming webinar builds on the discussions initiated this past May during the session Global Citizenship Education in National Policy Frameworks. That session offered a comparative overview of how Global Citizenship Education is currently reflected in the policies of eight European countries (Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Spain). Drawing on the studies carried out within the Global Education Time project, the session examined key opportunities and challenges in implementing GCE strategies and related public policies, highlighting both common trends and country-specific dynamics.
